Founded in September 1988 and taking the
largest portion of Dandong import and export
market, Dandong Import and Export Corporation
(Dandong Import and Export Corporation)
is a comprehensive foreign trading enterprise,
which is authorized by China Foreign Trading
and Economy Cooperation Department, with
an independent legal person and the right
of importing and exporting trading.
For many years, having taken the advantages
that Dandong lies to Korean Peninsula, with
all kinds of privilege that China renders
to encourage importing and exporting trading
and frontier trading，Dandong Import and
Export Corporation has developed importing
and exporting trading with the KPRK, South
Korea, Japan and Europe. The overall arrangements
of enlarging market to other countries on
the basis of the center of the market of
the DPRK, and the pattern that the trading
with the DPRK connected with the capital
trading in the way of processing trading
and port-transit trading on the basis of
the trading with the DPRK have been founded
for the time being. Dandong Import and Export
Corporation has established a long-term
and sound cooperation relationship with
more than twenty important companies, including
the DPRK state-owned big companies.
The trading of garments, which are processed
in the DPRK and exported to the Europe and
South Korea, is in an increasing scale in
the recent years. Dandong Import and Export
Corporation has nearly processed all kinds
of garments of 4 million sets last year.
Garment trading is taking the largest portion
of volume of trading so far for it has taken
over half of the volume of the exporting
trading of the company.
By means of employing many intellectuals
and exploiting advance management, Dandong
Import and Export Corporation, inclusive
of twenty foreign trading departments (branch
companies), is capable of signing contracts
with the customers from any country (region),
organizing and storing cargos, custom declaration,
cargos examination, cargos delivery, document
consignment, settling foreign currency.

A joint venture established by Dandong Importing
and Exporting Company and Hongkong Faxing,
is specialized in producing all kinds of
advanced instant foodstuff, for example,
edible bird's nests, shark's fin, tinned
foodstuff etc.
